OTOPLASTY

Ear correction (correction of protruding ears) is a procedure mainly intended for people with protruding, asymmetrical, or deformed auricles.

Otoplasty – what is it and what does the procedure involve?

Otoplasty, or ear surgery, is a surgical procedure aimed at improving the shape of the ears and correcting their position in relation to the head. It is most often performed in cases of protruding ears, but the procedure can also address other defects in the structure of the auricle. Otoplasty – ear surgery allows you to change the proportions, reduce the size, or reshape the cartilage, restoring a natural and aesthetic appearance.

Ear surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia, although general anesthesia may be used in children. The aim of the surgery is to achieve a lasting effect and improve the self-esteem of patients, who often feel very dissatisfied with the appearance of their ears.
